Open’s Broker Car Insurance product comes with choice of repairer as standard.
In the event of a claim, your client can arrange to get a quote from their chosen repairer. However, we’ll also arrange to get a quote from a qualified repairer from our list of approved repairers.
Your client can have the work done by any repairer they choose, however we won’t pay more than what our approved repairer would have charged for the same work.
This means that where the quote from their chosen repairer is higher than the quote given by our approved repairer, we will pay them the amount quoted by our repairer if they wish to proceed and have the work complete by their chosen repairer.
